When you do a popular cosplay get this feeling every time a little one wants a hug, or looks at you in awe. However nothing compares to getting a front page picture in your hometown news paper!
The Cosfamily was invited to HWY 55 Burgers in Lenoir, NC; to Star Wars Night. It was a wonderful night with wonderful people and we would like to thank HWY 55 for having us on this special kids night! Pretty sure we had more fun than the kids.
This is why we do it. Not for the fame, obviously, but for the people. To make people smile and laugh. To see a little one run up to Darth Vader and hug him around his knees. To see a tiny tot laugh with Chewy. To see Luke showing a kiddo how to hold his lightsaber. It makes all the hard work; often literal blood, sweat and tears; worth it.
To the HWY 55 crew, we hope you had as great of a time as we did. To all the folks who came out, we are happy we able to bring some joy into your day.
